In the week before the Inauguration, Fox News Channel was the second highest rated cable network on television in Total Viewers during prime time (Live+SD). The last time FNC finished the week this high was during the week of the presidential election. FNC averaged 2,103,000 Total Viewers, CNN was 12th (1,253,000) and MSNBC 22rd (1,026,000). FNC has finished in the top 5 on cable for 21 consecutive weeks.

In total day, FNC was 5th (1,143,000), CNN 9th (873,000) and MSNBC 26th (512,000).
