Bob Woodruff: Frequent Flyer

By Brian

Bob Woodruff has been living out of a suitcase since becoming co-anchor of ABC’s World News Tonight on January 3. The Hollywood Reporter had a recap on Friday: His first trip “started in Tehran, Iran, and moved to Jerusalem after Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s stroke. Last week, Woodruff was in California as well, first in San Francisco and then to Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, before leaving again Jan. 23 for the Palestinian elections.”

Woodruff “estimated that he has spent about a week and a half at home in New York since the new WNT started,” and he “said he has been gratified with the way the show has been formatted to allow for an anchor to be able to go where the news is.”
