“60 Minutes” remembers Bob Simon this Sunday with a 90-minute tribute episode.
Steve Kroft anchors the special which will honor the most-honored field reporter in television news. The tribute will include interviews with Simon’s “60 Minutes” colleagues, clips of his life’s work and three of his award-winning stories.
Bob Simon had been with CBS News for 47 years. He was killed a week ago in a car accident in Manhattan. Friends and family said goodbye yesterday at a funeral service at the Metropolitan Opera House.
