Bloomberg Television’s Emily Chang and Brad Stone, Senior Executive Editor of Global Tech, appeared on the Season 3 premiere of the HBO’s Silicon Valley last night. Not far from a real world experience, Chang and Stone reported on the fictional company Hooli, shutting down one of its divisions which sent its stock price up. Michael Bloomberg himself tweeted the raw video from the show, adding “Should have invested in these guys.”

The return of Silicon Valley was followed by the Season 5 premiere of Veep which also included a market move. Pres. Selina Meyer‘s growing pimple causes the stock market to crash in the middle of a White House briefing room news conference.
