’60 Minutes’ Producer Heads to ‘Dateline NBC’

“60 Minutes” producer Solly Granatstein is departing the CBS News flagship program for “Dateline NBC” this fall, TVNewser has learned, where he will be an investigative producer.

Granatstein, who mostly works in investigative, international, and war reporting, has won three Emmys with “60,” one in 2008 for “The Wasteland” with Scott Pelley and two in 2005 for “Aftershock” and “The Sea Gypsies” both with Bob Simon.

He leaves CBS News after 12 years with the program.
