Twitter launched Periscope yesterday, just in case you had no electricity or access to the Internet or don’t work in media. Despite a big push on “The Voice” and some banner ads in the app store, it’s not entirely clear to the masses what all this streaming is about. Yesterday, even some very tech savvy friends finally caved and asked me to tell them whether they need Meerkat or Periscope or both or “and people are into it, really really?” Here are some other poor, confused, souls:
When someone asks you what Periscope is and you say “Twitter’s Meerkat” and you realize how dumb all those words sound together.

Got asked three different times this morning what I thought of Periscope and Meerkat, whether Twitter is abusing incumbent power etc.
