The showtime hit “Shameless” returns for a fourth season this Sunday, and in the buildup to the premiere, the show’s Tumblr account is inviting fans to follow the adventures of “Private Ian Gallagher,” played by Cameron Monaghan.
“I finally feel like myself…’cept for the fact everyone here thinks I’m Lip,” Gallagher writes on his Tumblr page. “Luckily, I didn’t have to chain smoke and bang a bunch of psycho chicks to fit the part. Just needed a solid fake I.D. that would get me into strip clubs, sketchy liquor stores and Army Basic Training.”
For those that don’t follow the show, Ian illegally signed up for the army at the end of season two, impersonating his older brother “Lip” to gain acceptance into the military.
“I’ll be using this blog to post my private Gallagher thoughts over the next four weeks,” Gallagher concluded his blog post.
His diary has received a 152 notes in just a day.
