HBO has been making all the right moves as the highly anticipated season three of Girls sets to premiere. We’ve covered their use on Snapchat, interviewed Executive Producer Judd Apatow and tonight we attend their bash and screening at Tumblr’s HQ in NYC. Here are the details.
HBO relaunched the show’s Tumblr this season to focus more on GIFS as the season sets to launch. They even threw an event for bloggers, journalists and fans tonight where they screened the first two episodes (which were hilariously amazing) at Tumblr’s fun and beautiful HQ in NYC. We’ve been watching Tumblr become a centerpiece of social TV since 2011 and it’s great to see HBO’s dedication to it for this show with the perfect audience for it.
