Colbert Clips Already Going Viral, Months Ahead of Late Night Premiere

By Karen Fratti

5byLate night tends to dominate clip sharing on the web, and this week is no different. 5by, a video messaging and discovery platform has compiled the top five viral clips from this week. Theo Tabah, for 5by, tells us that:

A short tease for the second season of Fargo on the FX network was just released, and it captures the show perfectly. Cold, haunting, mysterious and uneasy. Pretty much the recipe for a great show these days. After Donald Trump’s ridiculous presidential announcement, Stephen Colbert thought he would do a parody of his speech. Well done Stephen, way to build hype for your new late night show, 3 months before it airs. Jimmy Fallon has always been a master of impressions, an old SNL claim to fame of his, really. This week, he decided to take part in a sing-off with James Taylor, as James Taylor. The duet is mesmerizing.  Jimmy also had Aziz Ansari on the show this week to promote his book. They read the awkwardly hilarious first texts exchanged between people who were trying to hit it off. So glad these texts were shared publicly. John Oliver tackled a heavy subject this week; torture. Torture in America to be more specific. Hellen Miren + The CIA + John Oliver… Winning combination for another must-watch episode.
