Valetine’s Day is upon us and what better way to send your loved one a message then by telling the truth. Comedy Central is here to help you do that with video e-card messages from the hilarious Anthony Jeselnik, whose show “The Jeselnik Offensive” premiers February 19th at 10:30/9:30 Central. We interviewed Don Steele, Comedy Central’s Vice President of Digital Marketing and Fan Engagement about the social TV campaign and which videos he plans on sending his own wife.

Jeselnik is, “known for his pitch-black sense of humor and blistering Comedy Central Roast appearances, Anthony Jeselnik has performed stand-up on ‘Late Night with Conan O’Brien’ and ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,’ among many other shows. We interviewed Steele about the hilarious way they’re celebrating today’s holiday.

Lost Remote: Why did you launch this partnership?
Don Steele: For every show, our digital team looks to create new content that will introduce the show and talent to our existing fans. With the premiere of The Jeselnik Offensive so close to Valentine’s Day, this type of content was ideal. Building out the E-Card engine to make these pieces more shareable, and to ideally shape how people express themselves on Valentine’s Day made perfect sense.

LR: What are the social components?
Steele: The E-card engine that we are using allows for sharing via email, Twitter, Facebook and Tumbler. It is super easy and social. We are promoting this card through our email lists and our social feeds. We have also been mining Twitter for fans of Anthony and we are proactively sending them cards to show them we care.

LR: Which card will you be sending to your wife?
Steele: I will definitely send all of them to her and use all of the different platforms to test it out. I feel lucky that we built this to at least keep me out of the dog house.
