YouTube star Connor Franta has inked a book deal. The
Internet celebrity revealed the news in the YouTube video above yesterday and tweeted it out to his audience of 2.79M followers.
Franta’s memoir A Work in Progress is due out from Atria/Keywords Press next month. In the book he talks about his “Midwestern upbringing as one of four children in the home and one of five in the classroom; his struggles with identity, body image, and sexuality in his teen years; and his decision to finally pursue his creative and artistic passions in his early twenties, setting up his thrilling career as a YouTube personality, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and tastemaker.”
Amazon presales are going well. The book is already No. 1 in “Memoirs”, ahead of American Sniper. The book also lead the “Satire” category, in the “Actors & Entertainers” category, as well as in the “Humor” category.
