Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison has plans to release a book of lyrics called Lit Up Inside.
The collection from Faber & Faber contains writings from throughout Morrison’s career. “The lyrics in this book span 50 years of writing and as such are representative of my creative journey,” he explained in a statement.
To promote the launch, the performer will appear at London’s Lyric Theatre on November 17th where he will perform and do a reading from the book. Artists Eamonn Hughes, Ian Rankin, Michael Longley and Edna O’Brien will accompany Morrison.
