Director Sam Taylor-Johnson revealed that the Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation will be getting two sequels.
The final two novels in E.L. James’ erotica trilogy, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, will be sourced for these movie projects. The filmmaker and the two stars, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, made this announcement at a recent fan screening event.
Vanity Fair reports that the “news of the sequels comes before the hotly-anticipated film has even debuted in theaters. However, it makes complete sense as the Fifty Shades of Grey movie is already Fandango’s fastest-selling advance-ticket R-rated movie in the company’s history.” (via MTV.com)
