Myriad Pictures plans to create a feature film called In the Lost Lands. The story for the script was adapted from three George R.R. Martin short stories.
Constantin Werner, a German filmmaker, serves as both the director and the screenwriter. Milla Jovovich, an actress known for her work in the Resident Evil movies, may tackle the role of a sorceress named Gray Alys.
Deadline reports that this will be the “the first time that the author’s works have been adapted for the big screen outside of HBO’s Game Of Thrones.” The overarching plot weaves together three different storylines that feature a desperate monarch, a female warrior, and a barbarian.
