The Show Can’t Go On. It’ll Go On.

If you don’t have any plans yet tonight, and you’re a fan of Samuel Beckett, you might want to check out the New School/Poetry Society of America event taking place at the Tishman Auditorium (66 W. 12th St.) tonight. New School writing program director Robert Polito will be among the literati reading from Beckett’s poetry—and the poems he admired—; other speakers include poets Fanny Howe, Mary Karr, Eamon Grennan, and Anne Atik (who’s also written a memoir about her friendship with the great writer).
