Netflix has unveiled the first part of a new Daredevil trailer. The video embedded above offers glimpses of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Jon Bernthal as The Punisher.
Here’s more from The Hollywood Reporter: “When Castle tells Murdock that he’s ‘one bad day’ away from becoming like the Punisher himself, he knows what he’s talking about; the character’s comic book origins see the former soldier become a vigilante after his wife and children are killed during a mob shootout. After his debut in 1974’s The Amazing Spider-Man No. 129, the character appeared in four issues of Frank Miller’s fan-favorite 1980s run on Marvel’s Daredevil series as a more violent counterpoint to Murdock’s idea of vigilante justice.”
