Stories for All Project Expanded Through Partnership

The NEA Foundation and Lee & Low Books have teamed up with nonprofit First Book to expand the mission to bring more diversity to kids books.

Together, the organizations will expand the Stories for All Project, by publishing new titles and producing companion tip sheets to help educators get more low income kids reading. Lee & Low Books will publish eight new titles with diverse themes that were previously only available in hardback. These titles will special edition paperbacks will be more affordable through the First Book Marketplace.

Each book will have a tip sheet with ideas on how teachers can use the book to create opportunities to learn about diversity and encourage understanding.
