Simon & Schuster has pulled Dylan Davies’ new book on Benghazi after new information has called into question the book’s credibility.
Politico has the scoop:
“In light of information that has been brought to our attention since the initial publication of The Embassy House, we have withdrawn from publication and sale all formats of this book, and are recommending that booksellers do the same,” Threshold Edition spokesperson Jennifer Robinson said in a statement. “We also are notifying accounts that they may return the book to us.”
Davies was the source of the controversial “60 Minutes” Benghazi report, which 60 Minutes has admitted was inaccurate.
New York Times reporter who covers book publishing Julie Bosman tweeted that the publisher is recalling books.
