EBook subscription service Scribd has signed a deal with indie eBook distributor Smashwords to bring its catalog of more than 225,000 eBooks into the Scribd subscription library. Smashwords books are already available through eBook subscription service Oyster.
Under the terms of the agreement, Smashwords will provide books from its library of more than 70,000 authors and publishers to Scribd’s new eBook subscription service. Smashwords titles will also be available for sale through Scribd.
