The Scotiabank Giller Prize organizers have revealed the longlist for this year’s award.
The $100,000 prize is given to the best work of fiction published in English during the year. The judges consider both novels and short story collections. Twelve books are on the shortlist. The finalists will be revealed on September 26 and the winner will be announced at a gala on November 7.
