Scholastic has unveiled the book trailer for The Marvels by Brian Selznick. The Wall Street Journal reports that the Caldecott Medalist himself created this piece.
The video embedded above features “a miniature theater, a tiny paper ship, and a little dragon with a bendable spine and a bright red tongue.” Prior to this project, Selznick had never made a book trailer before.
Selznick’s new middle grade novel will feature 440 pages of original drawings and 200 pages of text. The publishing house has scheduled a release date for September 15.
