Even though Samsung didn’t design its new digital audio player as an e-reader, because the YV-150 converts text to speech and works with six languages, including English, Japanese and Chinese gets CNET.co.uk very excited about the device’s possibilities. Along with a built-in FM tuner, you can dump your favorite text files into its memory and have the player convert them to voice, so it could read you the morning’s newspaper, for instance. The resulting audio files can be transferred back to a PC. At the moment, the YV-150 is only available in China but expect that to change sooner than you think.
