The next session of the Franklin Reading Series will feature debut novelists, poetry, comics, candy and cheap beer. Join them at the Franklin Park Bar & Beer Garden on Monday, March 12th starting 7 p.m. (Brooklyn, NY)

The Pen Parentis literary series will feature three writers, delicious wine and great conversation. Check it out at Gild Hall inside the Thompson Hotel on Tuesday, March 13th starting 7 p.m. (New York, NY)

The Moth’s next story slam session will revolve around the topic of “marriage.” Hear those 10 stories on Tuesday, March 13th starting 7 p.m. (New York, NY)

Litquake will be hosting a conversation event with a novelist, essayist, New York Times book review columnist Geoff Dyer and film critic David Thomson. Hear them at Tosca Cafe on Wednesday, March 14th starting 7 p.m. (San Francisco, CA)

Six YA authors will be discussing “Great Teen Reads for Spring.” Join them at Books of Wonder on Sunday, March 18th starting 1 p.m. (New York, NY)

Author Steve Light will be hosting a reading of his book Trains & Trucks Go! and a paint-a-long session. See him at the powerHouse Arena on Sunday, March 18th starting 3 p.m. (Brooklyn, NY)
