Random-House073010.jpgIf your eyes light up at the thought of dragons, time travel and Tom Brady, Random House needs you. The publishing group is on the hunt for a publicist to support ESPN Books and the Del Rey and Spectra imprints. Here’s where being a sporty nerd can work for you.

If hired, you’ll create PR strategies, implement campaigns and organize author tours for new titles. You’ll be creating your own publicity materials and promoting upcoming releases to traditional and digital outlets, which will a piece of cake for an experienced candidate.

Three years of PR experience at a media firm or agency, great contacts and exceptional writing and communication skills are required for this gig. However, if you have relationships in the sci-fi, fantasy or sports worlds, you’ll look like a total star. Interested? Apply here.
