Random House Seeks Executive Editor for Crown Publishing

Has it been a dream of yours to work for Random House? Well, The Crown Publishing Group is looking for an executive editor to acquire, edit and develop manuscripts within the Crown Trade editorial team.

In this role, you’ll work with top-notch authors, helping to shape and develop their material. You’ll also propose and evaluate new projects for imprint, while negotiating the purchase of manuscripts/acquisition contracts. In addition to this, the executive editor will collaborate with the design and production departments on style, schedule, format and aesthetics of each publication.

To land this gig, you should have at least seven years of adult trade editorial experience. The company is really looking for a creative individual with sharp negotiation skills, who can work well under deadline.
