Celebrity chef Rachael Ray has signed a three book deal with Simon & Schuster’s Atria Books imprint.
The first title from the author, who was formerly with Random House, is a cookbook for hamburgers called The Book of Burger. The book is slated for release this summer. She’s also got a new book called Rachael’s Year in Meals slated for release this fall.
With the new contract Ray will also curate her own series of books written by other chefs and food writers under the banner “Rachael Ray Presents.” This will include both print and digital titles.
Ray explained in the release: “I couldn’t be more excited to be working with Atria Books. They are the perfect partner for me to collaborate with in bringing books to life for our readers in many new ways – especially on the digital front. And the ‘Rachael Ray Presents,’ imprint will allow me to continue to develop new, emerging talent and help them to bring their content directly to consumers.”
