President Barack Obama celebrated Small Business Saturday by taking his two daughters on a trip to the Washington, DC bookstore Politics and Prose.
Among his choices were Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner, Nicholas Dawidoff’s Collision Low Crossers: A Year Inside the Turbulent World of NFL Football, and The Sports Gene by David Epstein, as well as Crockett Johnson‘s children’s book classic Harold and the Purple Crayon. The Washington Post was there taking pictures.
The Huffington Post pointed out that First Lady Michelle Obama did a book-signing for American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America at the store back in May.
