Orion Names New Reviews Editor

Taylor-Brorby-headshot-etr-300x300Award-winning writer an environmentalist Taylor Brorby has been named reviews editor of Orion, a bi-monthly magazine dedicated to art and literature that explore the connection between nature and culture.

Bzorby’s work has been seen in: High Country News, Canary, and Written River, among other places. Here is more about his work from the press release:

Taylor speaks regularly around the country about issues related to fracking and the Bakken oil boom and is a fellow at the Black Earth Institute.
His chapbook of poems, Ruin: Elegies from the Bakken, was published by Red Bird Chapbooks, and he is the editor of the forthcoming anthology Fracture: Essays, Poems, and Stories on Fracking in America due out this winter from Ice Cube Press.

The publication has been beefing up its staff this month. Last week, Aimee Nezhukumatathil joined the editorial team as poetry editor.
