Can you imagine an orc invasion at the Empire State Building? An actor named Harry Aspinwall created a Facebook page called “Orcs of New York.”
With this Humans of New York (HONY) parody project, Aspinwall aims to give “a face to the Mordor diaspora in New York, one orc at a time.” Some of the photos showcase the orcs in front of several iconic New York City locations including the New York Public Library, Washington Square Park, and the High Line.
Thus far, the page has drawn more than 52,000 “likes.” Do you think that J.R.R. Tolkien would have approved of setting these monsters loose in New York City? (via BuzzFeed)
