New York University (NYU) has released an adult coloring book online.
Marygrace Berberian, the director of NYU’s Art Therapy in the Schools program, offered this insight: “The act of coloring within a structured form offers some artists a sense of containment and mastery amidst feelings of distress. Most importantly, art making offers opportunities to create new adaptations for the world around you.”
NYU recruited Grace YoonJung Noh, an art therapy master’s student, to design four pages of black and white illustrations. These pieces showcase Washington Square Park, the school mascot, and the campus. Click here to download a free digital copy of the NYU coloring book.
