Melissa Lomax has received a promotion. Henceforth, she will take on the role of director of marketing at Dark Horse Comics.
Lomax began her career at the company with a marketing internship in Summer 2007 and Summer 2008; she came on full-time as a public relations coordinator in 2009. In her new position, she will work on projects related to marketing to bookstores, business strategy, digital publishing, social media, and advertising.
Lomax gave this statement in the press release: “I am beyond thrilled and honored to take on this position with the new opportunities and challenges it presents. It has been a privilege to work along side and learn from the best people in the business and I only hope to continue the stellar legacy of Dark Horse Comics in the years to come.”
