Jeremy Davies and Corbin Bernsen have landed roles on the American Gods television series. Davies will play Jesus and Bernsen will play Vulcan.
According to Empire Magazine, the story for this television adaptation will be based on Neil Gaiman’s popular fantasy novel. Earlier this year, Starz announced several castings: Ricky Whittle as Shadow Moon, Emily Browning as Laura Moon, Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday, Yetide Badaki as Bilquis, Gillian Anderson as Media, Dane Cook as Robbie, and Kristen Chenoweth as Easter/Ēostre. The premiere episode will air in 2017.
