Filmmaker James Wan will serve as the director for the Aquaman film adaptation.
According to Entertainment Weekly, screenwriter Kurt Johnstad will pen the script for this project. Wan will help to oversee the writing process.
Actor Jason Momoa, who plays the water warrior in the Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, has signed on to reprise the role for this project. The theatrical release date has been scheduled for 2018. (via TIME.com)
