Jacky Klein is joining Phaidon Press as Commissioning Editor for Art in June. Klein will be based in the publisher’s London office but will also be present on a regular basis in Phaidon’s New York office.
Klein comes to Phaidon from Thames & Hudson, where she served as Commissioning Editor, overseeing the publication of art history and contemporary art books, as well as the World of Art series, among other projects. Prior to working in publishing Klein has held role as a curator for the Tate, Barbican, Courtauld and Hayward galleries.
“I am so pleased that Jacky will be joining Phaidon as she brings with her a wealth of experience across the arts and I am confident that she will be a fantastic addition to the team at what is an extremely exciting time for the company,” stated Emilia Terragni, Publisher at Phaidon Press.
Klein’s appointment comes on the heels of news that Phaidon has hired a new CEO.
