Cori McCarthy and Amy Rose Capetta, two young adult authors, have launched a crowdfunding venture on Indiegogo. They hope to raise $26,000 for Rainbow Boxes.
With this initiative, McCarthy and Capetta aim to fill boxes with 15 books that feature LGBTQIA themes and characters. From there, these Rainbow Boxes will be delivered to one community library and one LGBTQIA homeless shelter in all 50 states of this country. We’ve embedded a video about the project above.
