Today Goldberg McDuffie Communications (GMC) announced the formation of GMC Consulting, a new digital-focused division of the company to help writers “develop a multi-platform strategy that will maximize their book’s profile among targeted audiences.”

In addition to the new services, the company also announced a host of promotions. Grace McQuade has been promoted to managing director; Angela Baggetta Hayes has been promoted to director of GMC digital; Megan Underwood Beatie has been promoted to deputy director of GMC digital; Kathleen Carter has been promoted to publicity manager; and Liza Lucas has been promoted to senior publicist.

Here’s more about GMC Consulting, from the release: “The division will offer consulting services to authors on positioning and publicity for the launch of a book, even if the campaign is ultimately executed by the publisher. GMC Consulting can be a resource for writers throughout their careers, building their brand beyond a specific book campaign.”
