Glenn Greenwald Lands Deal To Write About Edward Snowden & NSA

By Jason Boog

Investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald will write a book about Edward Snowden, the National Security Agency and government surveillance. Henry Holt’s Metropolitan Books imprint will publish the book in March 2014.

Greenwald broke the explosive Snowden scoop at the Guardian, and he remains “the only reporter to have received Snowden’s full cache of documents.” Writers House agent Dan Conaway negotiated the deal with Metropolitan publisher Sara Bershtel. Here’s more from the release:

The book, as yet untitled, will be published in March 2014 and contain new revelations exposing the extraordinary cooperation of private industry and the far-reaching consequences of the government’s program, both domestically and abroad … Metropolitan published Greenwald’s most recent book With Liberty and Justice for Some in 2011.
