FilmColony has acquired Girl of the Moment by Lizabeth Zindel, hoping to adapt the novel as a half-hour comedy series for television.
Development executive Melanie Donkers will produce alongside FilmColony president Richard N. Gladstein. Zindel will write for the show. The producers will pitch the project next, looking for a “perfect home” for the adaptation. Here’s more from the release:
