Genndy Tartakovsky Inks Deal With Marvel Comics

Cage 200 (GalleyCat)Genndy Tartakovsky has signed a deal with Marvel Comics. The seasoned animator will write the story and create the artwork for a four-part Luke Cage comic series called Cage.

In an interview with Birth.Movies.Death., Tartakovsky teased that besides the titular superhero, the books will also feature “70’s versions of other Marvel favorites.” The first issue will be released in October 2016.
