Electric Literature has created an infographic called, “Game of Books, How A Song of Ice and Fire Stacks Up,” which explores how George R.R. Martin’s tome compares in size to other great literary works in history.
Check it out: “George R.R. Martin has only completed five books of his seven-book series, yet it is already one of the longest stories ever told. At roughly 1,770,000 words, the first five books are 3.7 times as long as Lord of the Rings. Here is how many times these famous novels fit into the series.”
We’ve embedded the entire graphic after the jump.
