GalleyCat Arrives in Sweden

By Jason Boog

Last month one GalleyCat editor interviewed the four founding members of Bokhora (Bookslut, in English), Sweden’s largest literary blog. Today they blogged back with a feature about GalleyCat.

While written in Swedish, the post covered discussions about Hakan Nesser, Paul Auster, Nathanael West, and “Watchmen.” The Man Booker judges debated American literary isolationism this morning, and literary blogs can help bridge that divide. Book bloggers of the world: feel free to email GalleyCat when you visit New York City.

Here’s a quote, roughly translated by a web-based program: “We can also recommend to others who are on the whisk in the world to book a date with bloggers the way we did, it’s great fun.”
