Former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and her husband former astronaut Mark Kelly are working on a book about gun control for Scribner.
In Enough: Our Fight to Keep America Safe from Gun Violence, the couple argues for responsible gun legislation, and traces the couple’s involvement in the issue ever since Giffords was shot in 2011 in Tucson, Arizona. The book also details Giffords ongoing recovery. Kelly explained in a statement, “As Second Amendment supporters and gun owners ourselves, we hope our book rouses the long-overdue conversation our country needs to make responsible changes to our gun laws so that no more precious lives are lost.”
The book is slated for release in June.
