From Mad Men to Designing Spaces

By Neal

Over at UnBeige, mediabistro.com’s design blog, co-editor Stephanie Murg has the story on a book deal for Bryan Batt (left), who plays the character of Salvatore Romano on AMC’s Mad Men. When he’s not pretending to be an art director for a Manhattan ad agency, Batt works as an interior designer through Hazelnut, a New Orleans-based gift and home accessories store—and he’s just signed with Clarkson Potter to deliver a style guide filled with “witty commentary and design techniques” for folks who want to take a crack at decorating their own homes. The book is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2011.
