Editor Among Those Killed in Terrorist Attack on Paris Magazine

charlieStephane Charbonnier, the editor of the weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo, was among 12 people killed in a terrorist attack on the magazine today in Paris.

The Miami Herald has more about the victims killed in this heinous attack:

Eight journalists, a guest and two police officers were killed, said Paris prosecutor Francois Molins. Among the dead were Bernard Maris, an economist who a contributor to the newspaper and was heard regularly on French radio, and cartoonists Georges Wolinski and Berbard Verlhac, better known as Tignous.

The magazine is known for its satirical portrayal of politics and religion. Business Insider has more about this sad news:

The attack comes after the satirical magazine featured a new book by Michel Houellebecq that depicts the French government in 2022 as being run by Muslims.
