HarperCollins is looking for a senior editor for the pop culture titles in its It Books publishing program. Are you a die-hard fan of Patti Smith? Are you ready to admit you have Bieber Fever? You’ll fit right in here.

In this role, you’ll develop and acquire books in the categories of celebrity memoir, music, comedy, humor and Internet in both hardcover and trade paperback formats. In addition to your editing duties, you’ll deal directly with authors and agents, and help to promote and market your titles.

Naturally, you’ll need top-notch editing skills, but work experience in pop culture is paramount. Those who are versed in developing, planning and promoting pop culture publishing programs are most desirable.
