Star WarsHave you ever imagined Bill Watterson, the creator of Calvin and Hobbes, drawing his own cartoon version of Star Wars? Brian Kesinger, an artist who works at Walt Disney Animation Studios, has tackled this challenge.

BuzzFeed reports that Kesinger drew inspiration from Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the project. Thus far, he has posted six pieces on his Instagram account.

Here’s more from The Huffington Post: “While this particular series has been extremely popular on social media, Kesinger has done various other mashups including those between “Star Wars” and “Adventure Time,” as well as “Peanuts” and “Big Hero 6.”

He said he’s always been drawn to blending different characters and concepts — old and new — together into one, unique realm.” (via USA Today)
