The Ian Fleming estate commissioned author Anthony Horowitz to write a new James Bond novel entitled Trigger Mortis. The estate also requested that actor David Oyelowo narrate the audiobook edition.
Horowitz established a successful writing career with his Alex Rider series, the Power of Five series, and two Sherlock Holmes novels. Oyelowo became well-known for acting in several critically-acclaimed movies including Lincoln, The Butler, and Selma.
The Guardian reports that Oyelowo feels “very honoured” to take on this new role. HarperCollins will release this book on September 8. (via Vanity Fair)
