David Kent to Leave HarperCollins Canada

harpercollinsDavid Kent, the president and CEO of HarperCollins Canada, plans to leave the company at the end of this year.

Kent has devoted almost 14 years of his career to this position. Two executives, Iris Tupholme and Leo MacDonald, have received promotions and will henceforth manage the company.

Here’s more from the press release: “This change is concurrent with HarperCollins’ decision to exit the Canadian distribution business. HarperCollins announced earlier today that it will transfer the fulfillment responsibilities for its Canadian titles to RR Donnelley.”
