David Davidar Faces Sexual Harassment Suit

penguinca.jpgToday Penguin Canada revealed that outgoing president David Davidar faces a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by his former colleague.

Here’s more from Publishers Weekly: “the company issued a statement Friday afternoon announcing that Penguin’s former rights and contracts director Lisa Rundle charged Davidar with sexual harassment in an action yesterday … Penguin said he will have no further involvement with the company.”

Read more at the Globe & Mail. Earlier this week, we noted that Davidar was stepping down at Penguin Canada. According to the company release earlier this week, he was leaving to “pursue his successful writing career and other projects.”
