Dave Hathaway has been named special projects manager at Greenleaf Book Group.
The publisher created this new position especially for Hathaway and his work will benefit several different departments within the company. The former Barnes & Noble business book buyer has 25 years of retail experience.
Here’s more from the press release: “Hathaway will tap his extensive bookselling background to contribute cross-departmentally in identifying new opportunities and trends, as well as providing feedback on packaging, titling, cover design, author branding and platform development. He will also help design merchandising and marketing strategies across channels including retail stores, the Internet and digital media.”
